Reclaimed by Penny Craswell.

Penny Craswell’s book Reclaimed is both fantastic and terrifying in equal measures. The terrifying part is that it highlights the vast volumes of consumption and waste that come from the construction industry. The fantastic part is it shows us how the result of us reclaiming, recycling, reconstituting or reusing can be so beautiful.

My favourite section is the list of materials that are made from waste including tiles made from eggshells, insulation made from recycled denim and a recyclable, non-toxic panel made from cellulose waste that can be used as a healthy and more sustainable alternative to MDF.
